Stephen James Menold Homecoming at Hermann's Jazz Club

Stephen James Menold, grew up in Victoria Bc, after studying at Camosun College he took off to live and study music further in Montreal, where he has been living and working in the music scene for the past 5 years.

Stephen is returning to his home and putting on a show of his compositions and arrangements in a quintet group made up of local west coast talent, Ryan Oliver on sax,
Greg Bush on Trumpet, Richard Whitehouse on Piano and John Lee on Drums.

Stephen takes on influences of Charles Mingus and Thelonious Monk to create his own vibrant and fresh sound.
