Nightengale Music Company at Jazz Bistro

Nightingale Music Company is a band based out of Toronto, Ontario. Founded in 2017, this band is a collection of experienced jazz musicians who have been playing together in various groups for over 5 years.

The band members consist of four graduates from Humber College’s Bachelor of Music program, and is fronted by Emily Steinwall. Steinwall is a saxophonist and vocalist, and at 22 years old was named one of CBC’s “35 best Canadian jazz artists under 35”.

The other band members include some of Toronto’s brightest young jazz musicians, and are: David Steinmetz (drums), Hayden Farrar (bass) and Trevor Peverley (guitar).
